FORCE yourself into the power snatch - STOP catching high.


If you're struggling to catch lower in a power snatch, even after doing it many times, maybe it's time to change how you think about it.

You might need to force yourself into the right position. If you feel shaky when catching the bar in a power snatch, it's probably because your body isn't used to that position, even if you did it correctly.

Some people (like me previously in the video) avoid going deeper because they're scared of being forced into that position. Like I said, you may have landed in the right position but your body is not allowing you to stay there.

Don't worry, with practice, you'll get better and more stable.

But you won't improve if you don't continue to practice getting into the right position.
